From this historic spot, located in front of the walled city, you'll board a shared speedboat that transforms into your first floating dance floor. As the sun slowly melts over the Caribbean horizon, you'll cruise through the bay of Cartagena de Indias, enjoying an open bar of Colombian rum, Coca-Cola, and orange juice that sets the rhythm for an afternoon that transforms into a party.
The Bocagrande skyline sparkles in the distance, while bilingual coordinators liven up the experience. Here, you don't just dance: you connect with the culture.
Upon returning to the pier, the experience evolves without losing any intensity. It's time for the Beyond Cartagena's Pub Crawl, a route designed to discover Cartagena's authentic nightlife. The group will visit carefully selected bars within the Historic Center and Getsemaní, with live music and a multicultural atmosphere. At each stop, you'll receive free shots of Colombian liquors, participate in icebreaker drinking games, and experience genuine interaction with other travelers.
In addition, you'll have a "cultural dance class" with a local instructor who will introduce you to the basic steps of salsa and champeta, two rhythms that are the musical DNA of the city. A fun fact that adds flavor to the evening: champeta originated in the Afro-Caribbean neighborhoods of Cartagena and was for years an underground expression, now a symbol of local identity.
